Reina (pronounced Ray-na) has been an almost 3 year dream come true. Her name means Queen or To Reign in Spanish and we feel it fits her to a T.
I met Reina's co-breeder, Katie Emanuel of Birinci Anatolian, a year and a half ago when I saw her and her breathtaking girl Toad in the group ring. I had to meet her in person. From that point on I would seek her out at any show and talk via email and phone any chance I got. She has been such a great resource and a wealth of information on the breed. I was able to really get to know the anatolian breed and the ins and outs of being an owner to make sure this was a breed that would work for my family. In addition, over all that time I met many of their dogs from various lines. I am so thankful for all the help she has been to me.
I waited patiently for the right one to come along for me from their breeding program and I can say I am so very thrilled, Reina was more than worth the wait. She is not only gorgeous but she is so sweet and loveable.
She loves my boys and is already watchful of them. Here she and my oldest, Antonio, were rolling around after she played show dog for the photo session.
